celestialfray: (Them)
Ack. I only have 1.69 GB left on my 40GB hard drive. Stupid essential updates took up valuable space. (I've been keeping it around 3-4 GB by downloading then deleting stuff)

High speed internet and access to too many files is killing my hard drive.

What's taking up the most space? Let's see:

Movies: 6.7 GB (LOTR: TTT, Chicago mainly)
Firefly: 7.75 GB (I can't help the fact that I don't want to wear out my tapes)
Random Buffy Eps: 3.65 GB
The Sims: 2.23 GB (Okay, so I don't play it anymore, but it's bitch to reinstall if I want to ever again)
Music: 1.2 GB
Shared folder: 1.93 GB

The movies are too large to burn (over 800MB per file) and I want to keep them until the DVDs come out (August). And the Firefly DVDs aren't going to be out for a while...

::goes on burning & deleting spree::

::trying to delay having to buy an additional harddrive::

::starting to realize it's futile::

::pouts:: Buffy is supposed to be on right now.

Damn Mariners. Damn KSTW for picking their games up. Damn the UW for cutting down on the bandwidth of p2p programs so that I can't download tonight's episode (only 94 MB, not so nice quality) fast enough. Or even a Gilmore Girls' episode.

Yes I'm being completely irrational.

...

And I'm done.

Why couldn't our UPN decide to play it after the game like the Boston UPN is doing? Why must I suffer?!?

Okay, apparently not.

So... I hear people have these crazy things called "lives" that allows them to do many different and varied things and not obsess about, say, one particular thing. What's that all about? I wonder if I have one... ::ponders:: And now I'm out of ideas of interesting things to do in lieu of Buffy.

I guess I'll go study for my Human Sexuality quiz.

(apparently I don't)
