GIP and O.O
This shot just begged to become an icon. No, really. It pleaded and everything.

Also, this theme just asked for it. Wasn't how I wanted it cuz of the size restrictions so I simplified it with just the lyric:

Also, OMG:
Pop singer Avril Lavigne (news)'s hit single "Sk8er Boi" is heading to the big screen.
Paramount Pictures has optioned the song and hired "ER" writer/producer David Zabel to adapt its words into a feature film to be produced by studio-based MTV Films and Alphaville.
The song, which captures the divide between cliques and cultures, is about a teenage girl who rejects a skater boy with a crush on her because her friends didn't approve of him -- even though she secretly likes him. Years later, he becomes a famous rock star and she is left with regrets. (so she's as shallow now as she was then?)
Because the song has become an anthem for teenagers, the film will be true to spirit of the song. Also titled "Sk8er Boi," the feature will focus on the two teens from different backgrounds and the social constraints in which they find themselves.
Anthem for teenagers?
Really, how much depth can you find in song that starts with: "He was a boy/She was a girl/Can I make it any more obvious?"
And:
"Too bad that you couldn't see,
See the man that boy could be
There is more that meets the eye
I see the soul that is inside"
Yeah, it's too bad the "snobby" girl didn't realize he would become a rich rock star, then this girl wouldn't have been able to see it and get with him.
