I was going to update yesterday but I got distracted by the end of Moulin Rouge... Damn that movie.
First let me start off with a disclaimer. This post has no relevance on any previous posts I have made. Let's make this clear...
So after class, I decided I needed stuff, so I went up the ave to look around for some shoes or something. (I use any excuse to go up and down the ave) Didn't find anything interesting, went up to Rite Aid and bought some candy for halloween. I looked in a used video store and omg, they were actually selling New Kids on Block, Vanilla Ice, and Donny Osmond dolls. Anyway, I was mostly window shopping, went all the way up to
48th, then headed back down to go home.
I then saw this comic book store on 43rd that I rarely go into. Unfortunately, I didn't see any Buffy action figures or good comics but just for a lark, I asked the owner if he had any at all or would get any. He said no, but mentioned that he just went by this other comic book store and he had seen a Spike variant there. My ears perked up and I was like, "What? Where?" Him: "A store on 53rd, 10 blocks up."
It was about 5:00 pm, getting dark, and so I... I, uh, went. Walked all the way up to 53rd to that store. But it was so worth it. They had the Vampire Spike Action Figure and the Vampire Angel (Buffy Series 1) there for 14.95 each, which is such a great price because those figures are out of stock and impossible to find anywhere but ebay. He recommended another store, which is a little distance aways but I'm going to go there also. Or call first. And he gave me a flyer for a comicard convention coming up November 10th, which I now I have to go to. And it's so easy to get two since it's near the Seattle Center and that's just a bus ride away. I just hope my luck holds.
And I am not obsessed
I can't believe it's halloween already. Doesn't seem right. So many importatant dates are coming up. I mean, my mom's birthday is tomorrow and mine is the 8th (18! Finally! Now I can get porn. Or uh, vote. Yeah, vote.) My only midterm is on the 6th (yay for lack of other midterms), LOTR extended DVD comes out 12th, HP: COS appears the 15th...
Unfortunately, I'm not doing anything Halloween. Have to read a bunch of pages for philosophy before Friday because I'm going home this weekend (first time ever, wow. I think my parents suffered more than I did though) and I don't want to have to do homework during it. Plus, that Mythology midterm is Wednesday and I have to catch up on my notes. And man, I, or that one guy, started a trend here. That one guy first counted the teacher's "um's" and "uh's" and then I did it. Then yesterday, somehow it got mentioned that I did it to this other girl, and kinda joked about it, so the girl started taking count. Then during the lecture I noticed 2 other people nearby doing it also. Heh.
