Troikathon

Okay, addictedkitten made me do this. It was not my fault (as if it ever is, and it's much easier to blame everything on her. And AOL.)

We are currently in the middle of our Troikathon. Very fun. Though kinda annoying cuz Sara kept poking me whenever Andrew came on screen. And since every episode featured him in some way (we even saw Real Me just because Tom Lenk played the vampire. Like I said, dork) I got poked a lot. So far, we've seen: Real Me, Flooded, Life Serial, Smashed, Gone, and Dead Things. We've (okay, mostly her) been talking a lot about the whole slashing of the troika. Her theory is that Warren/Andrew hooked up between Dead Things and Normal Again with Warren taking advantage of his vulnerability. Andrew was betrayed and Warren died. Andrew then took solace in the arms of Jonathan.

My theory is that sometime before Dead Things Warren has been building a Warrenbot. After Dead Things, (having known of Andrew's repressed homosexuality) he used the Warrenbot to manipulate Andrew. Warren then sent the poor Warrenbot to an unfortunate death by the hands of Willow. Andrew, thinking Warren was the one, felt betrayed. Warren died. Andrew then took comfort in Jonathan and went to Mexico and they did what bunnies do. Hm.. very sketchy theory. But Warren doesn't strike me as the intimate type beyond Katrina (his former obsession) and women in power. But then bots... Ack, this thinking thing is overrated. And so is logic.

Anyway, we are currently taking a short break (i.e. sleep) and will continue all this troika fun in the morning. Wow, the sun is coming up.

Now what?

Okay, I've just wasted several precious moments of my life customizing the colors (though something still looks a little off). I don't know why I decided on these colors and looking at them, I'm a little disconcerted. It's so girly with all the pink and reds. It wasn't something I consciously did either. I started with ivory and red then changed a little of this and some of that and there it was. Weird. Sometimes I don't get me.


Plus I also spent some time creating icons. Fun. I made an semi-okay one from some Buffy screencaps of Gone. It's from the scene where Spike is in his crypt and hears Invisi-Buffy and the camera does this cool panning of Spike (one of the few things Fury actually did well as director). I turned it into a gif. Since there weren't that many screencaps, I sped the animation up. Which is why the animation stops after 3 cycles because I noticed there's a tendancy for dizzyiness if it's left on forever. (How do I know this? One of life's eternal mysteries.)

Now I just need to find a site that has that has a video clip of that scene. I want my gif smoother. I doubt that it will fall under the maximum 40K limit but oh well. I still want it.


Hm, my belief that addictedkitten is evil is confirmed. She left the candy corn at my house (I'm sure it was intentional) and because I keep eating them, I'm getting sick. They're generic and sugary but they're just there and you can't help but eat them. Evil...


It seems the spam marketers are stalking me. I'm sure of it. The only spam piece of spam I recieved today was an email titled "BBQ in the rain" which is freaky. Out of the blue my mom decided we should BBQ. We never BBQ, especially on holidays. We then had some problems because it started to rain. This was the highlight of my day since my mom decided I should do everything. It did get a little interesting when the foiled rack caught on fire and almost burned the ribs.
